Hi All

I dont have a massive car, and have a old but very collapsible fold flat barrow.
Its a Chub Outkast now long since discontinued.

I need to get a side pannier basically for general food / tins / milk / juice etc etc.

Can anyone either recommend or suggest someone who does such things
or
Can anyone recommend a similar fold flat barrow of some quality..

Hi all

Thought id drop a quick post first.
Looking to respool and wondered what people were thinking.

Looking for a 15lb monno
Must be low strech
Must have good knot strength

Currently on Gardener HD
I think its been ok but seemed to take a fair while to bed propperly.

Theres a new fluro out (Thinking Anglers???) Yes its a bunch of cash
Ive never used Fluro on the spool what disadvantages does it have.

H all

Was n the market for a new bag and settled on the Tracker 365.
This is my review

Ive always used my camping "Mummy" type sack it was a 4 season but has lost a lot of that thermal value over time.
Getting out of it to hit a take is very hard
You cant use it very well by leaving it open as there is not enough bag to throw over you leavng large bits exposed
Uasually also having Hat, Fortis Jacket, Hoody, Teeshirt, and long sleved base layer on

Any way I just spent 3 nights wth the 365 Mid Feb. Bivvy open, Bag fully unzipped and i was toasty warm and slept like a log !!
Just in a Hoody and Tee shirt

Disadvantages
1. Its heavy (But also a positve)
2. Its big (But also a positve)
3. Its very bulky
4. Gettng it packed away

Advantages
1. Its heavy (Does not pust off easily kept n place by ts own weight.)
2. Its big (Head to toe coverage and can be left fully unzipped while still being fully wraped)
3. Zips on both Left and Rght hand sides
4. Held in place by elastcated straps under the bedchair

So providng you dont mind lumping the huge thing about its 5 stars all day long from me

Im very shortly due to receive my Aviator Flexes.

These felt like a nice lttle acton not soft but not super stiff either, recovers very quickly indeed put my very old Armaltes to shame !
The lower secton has all the grunt im gonna need if need to turn a fish.

Dont need to cast to the moon but stll want to enjoy the fight.
Was also a tad worred about hook pulls at the net but dont thnk thats gong to be a problem.

As i dont do / need to fish at range these were for me the ideal middle ground rod.

As i dont use braid i went for TiForged Air Guides from AT with a 40mm butt. Flexble and lightweght

Give Calvn Hancock a call top guy couldnt rate him well enough !

Hi all

Just got hands on with the Fox X4S. Lovley bit of kit. Think my minds made up
The handle though 8ft is very stiff.
Felt very controlable and the extra length also felt realy welcome, I hate trying to net those 2am fish.....!!

They say its chunkier in diameter, but in comparison to mine its still whisker thin. Perhaps 20 mm ish

So a deffinate downvote on the T8.. [Thanks]

Yeah had thought about just changing the mesh but mines done about 35 years so it dont owe me nothing....!

Hi all

Just bouncing this old thread been fassing aroung with doggies an having fun.
Fortunatly i have a local club lake just packed with small fish.

Once they get going the surface just boils with a pouch of freebies.

Been dicking around with The Gardener Suspender setup.
Out of the pack its Dog Sh!te but fith a little fiddling its fooking deadly takes time to get it ballanced just so but when you do a hookbait sits just on the surface.

Mr carp will still take the freebies first but all in all it certainly results in more hookups than traditional floater and trailng line never used The Beachcaster but i suppose the Suspender is very similar in approach.

Hi all

Looking for a new net. Mine has done many years and has been subject to more bankside repairs than i can count...
But now every time i put it together i can hear the mesh cracking just that little bit more...

Dont mind paying reasnoble money providided i can get some service from it, but have no intentions of paying some of the prices out there...!

So far looking at the,
Trackker Sanctury T8 42" with 6ft Handle
Or
Fox H4S 42" with 8ft Handle

So far leaning to the Foxy but ive not been able to get hands on, Does any one have one for comment (or any other general thoughts) ??

Yeah they are. Around since the 80s wow

Saw them in my local shop come in 2 sizes.
Ive fished on the top before where every time the hook bait was left till last.

Have beaten the fish by dangling the line over a bramble directly onto the water.
Gave me an idea for a "Suspender System" i went to my local shop with a shopping list of stuff....

When asked what it was for and i explained he got a Suspender from the shelf...

for £8 im gonna try one out just for fun

Are you sure?
