what i found with the trakker sim ,,is i leave the valve open ,it works atreat very comfy,and i have a knacked shoulder joint.

Have you tried a sleep system?
Ive always had a Nash SS3 and Emporer sleep system but always had a terrible nights sleep.
Ive now got a Wychwood Morphis 7 bag (Silk not fleece) and have such a better nights sleep, im now just trying to find the perfect bedchair.

If the sim is too firm you are overinflating it, it's suppised to have give in it. You can adjust the firmness to suit your body shape and weight. I would try a better maybe deeper sim and adjust the inflation level until you are comfortable. Cheaoer than pursuing the perfect bedchair.

I have the mf60 Nash and it's like a female dominatrix it absolutely knackers my back loading it in and out the van then gives me a comfortable rest for the back it's just knackered.
I purchased a second hand avid lite and it is brilliant weight wise, I have a small snug pack sim but am interested in these bigger deeper ones, what one is a good un?

I just bought a 10cm sim off ebay that fitted the size of my bedchair. Can't remember the make, some research on u tube will guide you to a cost effective solution. Camping related sites are a good source of useful reviews More people use sims than there are carp anglers.

As I said before, not cheap but my Mrs has the Vango Shangri La 2, it's hard to beat tbh in the 15cm, not sure about other sizes. Worth looking at the types of valves, the modern trend is for the cyclone valve which hasn't let us down but a quick search on Amazon will give you a idea. I think the key to them is not to allow dirt into it, could be quite hard in a fishing situation.
Personally I went for the Outdoor Revolution Campstar (in 7.5cm) as it had the same valve as my Helium 3.8 and not the cyclone valve. Outdoor Revolution have a great camping reputation and also make campervan specific SIMs which are highly rated on camping/campervan sites, which is where you'll find a lot of good info on them

I have the new fox flatliner, not a system. Very happy with it. Super comfy and quite firm. I use the Gardner duvet bag which is NOT fleece lined.
