I have all the remote versions of delkims and they have been my go to alarms for a long while - however the v1 ds are absolutely shocking - not something I would usually share however I tried the correct route of emailing them and was underwhelmed by the usually good service.
Two of my three were loud when the heads were turned down, the third one went Kate Bush on steroids one day and after that horrific scream died forever. I actually thought it was a brilliant feature, not only did it die and take if last bleep, but it let the whole lake know that it was the end f it's short life.
I have the rxs which I like, but like stu if you are going to look at something for hours on end it may as well be something pleasing, reliable and goes beep when it needs to. Range on mine isn't great but I only ever need 10 yards max. Ecu - white rollers and jobs a good un.

I freely admit that I never understood what bleep speed is.
Why can't delkim just make an alarm with volume and sensitivity control and a receiver and waterproof. I have never used any on the other things they are supposed to have
I went from txis that I purchased in 1999 to the Ds a couple of years back and no problems with either 🏴
I still think a lot of the problems folk have is due to hem forgetting they are electronic products, they are not designed to any military spec nor are they IP rated.

Without it turning into one of 'those' threads I've never had a alarm leak and fail, inc my TXi's, in 30+ years, but I can't ignore that rather lot of Delkim owners have. If they're not suitable due to water ingress for outdoor use they shouldn't be sold as such. A image I have stuck in my mind from the Korda vids, Doveys elastic bands on most of his vids, not a good ad by association, even if that's not his use for them.

No problems for me they get used in all weather and many many others perhaps you need to look after your gear better 👍🏼

My experience of ECU's was pretty short lived, got a set of the super plus used for a couple of day sessions all fine & dandy, next trip out a couple of weeks later switched on the receiver & its dead as the proverbial.
Ok not ideal just turn the volume up on the heads, checked the brand new battery at home totally flat, yes it was switched off put another battery in worked ok.
Contacted ECU & was told it needs a reset, remove battery turn switch to on & leave for 72 hours..one thing at home different thing entirely in a fishing situation.
I don't do social media but saw in a post on another thread there are user groups, a quick google & it seems these sorts of issue are not uncommon.
After the above i had zero confidence in them,leave the battery in & risk a repeat or remove the battery to be sure, not what i expect for alarms that cost what these do.
Back to ATTS for me don't have all the bells but do have most importantly reliability.

100%. The vast majority of delks sold will be working absolutely fine. I've had 3 since launch, now have 5, and haven't had a single issue. Only alarm I've ever had an issue with is Nash R3 that started rusting in the battery compartment even though they were always dried after a wet session like all my alarms.
That list of features on the V2 D is virtually the same as the V1, the biggest difference being changeable LED colours which is something loads of people have requested.

I had similar issues, though mine were nearly 2 years old. Once your confidence has gone its time to move on imo. I am back on trusted ATTs and I wont change again.
