Bought a couple of "4" deep holes" off eBay to put the back legs into!!!!

Yes . . .I did this for my barbel/river chair (JRC Stealth XLite) and it was pretty easy. The simpler the mud feet connection the easier it is to do . . .I sourced a 1M length of 1/1.5mm gauge ali tube and cut it with a hacksaw into two equal pre-determined lengths. As the tension mech is basic on this chair I simply swopped out the existing ali tube and redrilled / screwed on the existing mudfeet. The only arse was removing the mudfeet as they were pinned / riveted on - I had to drill them out first.

Chair now extends at front significantly for severe sloping banks (with the rear legs folded under) and can take all 16stone of me no probs . . .and also stills folds to carry (albeit with slightly more pronounced legs)

Tools required -
Length of decent gauge ali tube (20mm dia but check your chair)
Hacksaw
Workbench with clamp
Decent power drill
Small metal drill bit
Self tapping screws
Patience!
