I record sets of a certain exercise then watch it back, I do this as I find it really useful for trying to improve my form and make sure I'm doing something good for my back instead of bad. Once I've watched the video I delete it.
And if you want to say can't you tell from feeling it? Well kind of, but not properly as its new to me so the video feedback is exceptionally useful. Once I'm confident I'm constantly nailing the form I won't need to record it.
Luckily I don't go to a gym where people are filming everything but there is a place in exercise for video feedback on technique, look at climbing, swimming, tennis etc. Not everyone's filming themselves to check out their physique and post it on instagram.

Well, you could look at it another way....
Nowadays with all the working from home shenanigans some people now work on the bank with their laptops.......
If you listen to the radio or podcasts via an app that tanks the phone battery as well, you don't necessarily need to be on Netflix to flatten the battery......
Toy boats they may be but that didn't stop TH using one to catch the Parrot or SL to catch the Burghfield Common, just saying........
Oh and let us know what you think about Power Barrows when you're a bit older and your backs completely ****ed

If people didn't take so many gadgets, toys and other paraphernalia then perhaps they could make do with a modest push along barrow?

Al long as someone's actions doesn't have a negative affect on mine or other anglers enjoyment of the fishing, then let them get on with it...
I as many do have a stressful job with me phone and emails coming through all day none stop.... Fishing for me its as much trying to catch the odd one as it is being in a nice relaxing environment away from the world for a few days in my own little bubble.....

I remember the days when you'd get all the stuff for a few days fishing on your back.
And much prefer the (motorised) barrow that I use now. Even when not carrying much on a day session. My back loves me for it too,
There's a bit of snobbery around motorised barrows, yet you don't see it in (for example) golf, where a golf bag is waaaaaaaaaaaaay lighter than what we take. And most of the people are just s fat!

I'd say it's more the instant carpers that have popped up in the last 4/5 years that are the stupid ones. Look at the prices they're paying for clothing from brands like omc, just because they're sheep to Ali Hamidi.

It's ridiculous but some idiots will buy them.
It's like Costa coffee I wouldn't pay £3 to £4 for a brew when I can get a decent coffee from McDonald's for a quid or about £1.60 for a latte, each to their own I guess
