OK that was a daft comment, I agree fan's do make a difference. I have fished in hot climates on the odd occasion and worked in even hotter ones for months on end. So yes I have been in extremely hot climates. Certainly worth setting up a shelter tho....or at least having the set up to do so because if you end up in a swim with no tree cover...... you'll roast in a bivvy, even with vents and a fan.

Haha fair one....like I said it was a quick look..... just looked on ali express and found them on there for 9 quid! However they are not in a carpy green......they are pink lol

I've got the Trakker one and very happy with it.
Last week Morrisons were selling USB fans for £4 so I thought why not. It is s.hit. Soft blades and you need to be less than 6" away to feel it.

It's air movement that has the cooling effect. Stick you head out of a car window doing 60, when it's 80+ degrees outside, bet it feels cool.

Genuinely cannot see the point in having a remote for a fan that to be effective needs to be within arms reach. Are we just getting lazy?

with regards building sun shelters etc .... would a good old fashioned parasol not be easier?
