As Greekski said, golf course is a year round job.
You don't see much of the work because it's done early.

I used to work as a Hotel Manager at a Hotel, Golf Club and Spa, and have seen the maintenance guys on course, mowing greens and removing dew on the grass by hand at sunrise in the winter.

I don't condone fishing under the ice, but when you need to make a living, you have to work. It's not always possible to be at home wrapped up.

I've been fishing when the lake has frozen over, the hole I was fishing in getting smaller every day, even the whole lake freezing up in one night. I must admit I've never had to play a fish through ice though.

Bad angling yes but let's not forget their sponsors are just as bad for sponsoring them and allowing the vid to be put out. Most employees working for any half decent company have to follow a code of conduct which is missing from carp angling in general.

If I'm not mistaken Bartlett is the fishery owner and sets his own rules? yes probably the wrong choice to purposely fish under the ice but I would guess 99% of anglers would choose not to.

Bart owns acorn fishery so I suppose he can do what he wants, do I think it's right? Of course not but who can tell him what he can and can't do on his own lake
