Not if you use Rigmarole CamH20 - you could scrunch it in a ball and it will still pull straight under minimal tension and with no need for steaming etc

Quite like the idea of Camh20 .... does anyone know what the diameter is in 25lb? as doesnt seem to say on their website

I can vouch for this stuff, amazing. Quite a bit of stretch in itso bare that in mind and stretch it out a bit before setting your length. Wish they did it in 35lb

Never had any sinkage problems and have been using it exclusively for years . . .give it a go and feedback if disappointed!

I had some Carbon Fibre tube left over from sleeving a rifle barrel, fitted perfectly inside 2” foam pipe lagging to create a stiff rig tube for beach casting rigs.
The rigs are pinned in place and run ‘helter skelter' style from top to bottom so I get a 1meter rig on a 500mm tube. I will be doing the same thing for my leaders once I know which to go for...
