my attention was first drawn to the Global kit when a good friend of mine in lockdown had to sell up a lot of gear including his 24v power porter when he got back working again he started off with a standard M2 porter then when funds allowed he bought the Global kit and said its easily as good and prefers it

I've been speaking to Matt at Global Angling Products and he seems a really decent and genuine guy. I'm getting my barrow converted in 2 stages as funds won't allow it all in one go. I've just sent him my rear barrow frame to get rear wheels added to it. I'll give some feedback when it's done, but he fully understood my somewhat crap description of what I wanted. And then at a later date will convert to a power barrow.

Looks good ive been looking at these for months now in various guises, I assume the forks supplied are the ones that come down and are welded to another set of forks in essence to accomodate the wider wheel ??
I hope my description is understandable... I have the explorer deluxe and the wheel is pretty narrow and the locking wheels are on the same side (eg the back) so it would appear that that is correct.
My only concern is that the welds there would be taking a lot of stress repeatedly, and as such would have to be very strong in my mind, but im not an expert , And please dont think im putting it down at all, I think they are great a bargain compared to the 1000 pound options , if i had the money id buy one today to be honest, im sure the guys who build them know more than me when it comes to design.

the Fox Voyager Deluxe wheel forks are wider than the standard narrow ones and so they made a special set thats been well tested and lots of people are using it
simply undo the locking hand wheel nuts on your existing wheel drop it off slide the new motorized wheel on do up the locking hand wheel nuts .......... piece of cake

Yes you can save money and order similar kit from Ali express
BUT ONLY if your handy with your hands and can do all the wiring and fabricating needed !!
but I prefer the Plug and play kit all done for me and takes 15 mins to fit and if anything goes wrong I can pick the phone up and get it sorted and dont mind paying for the privilege
and I have posted the group on here a few times but here it is again LINKY POO

I will be honest initially I was thinking I will save even more money and get the Ali kit but then seeing so many people on the facebook group having problems with fuses blowing and speed controllers failing and braking down I thought its just not worth it for me I need total reliability

Barrow Conversion are another company worth speaking to, they do the conversion kit place rear wheels which are quality as I've purchased a pair for mine.

Can't say I've had an issue as yet I did blow a 15 amp fuse and now use a 20 which has been fine and it pulls like a train.
