My statement was a bit tongue in cheek, but my feeling is that "covidiots" (like the phrase Jason ) did increase bankside activity for the worse with their yellow tents and all. People taking their kids/grandkids doesn't reflect in this as this is obviously a good thing for the kids and the sport.

Also not really knocking Go Outdoors as I've bought loads of good fishing gear over the years.

I've used Go Outdoors/Fishing Republic a fair bit recently. They seem to have good prices on stuff now and then with their sales and also if you use Top Cashback you also get a good percentage back what you spend. Off the top of my head it's 11% on orders over £100

I loved my time at go outdoors met some great customers and loved helping people and travelling the country but the one I worked at was way too clicky with managers and some staff ,didn't like that side and some management thought they were above everyone else
