Nonsense, never worn a beanie and never will, can't see the point in a waterproof one either as surely the rain will just run off straight down your neck. Thanks but no thanks I'll stick with my proper hat but don't doubt the bearded vass chesty boys will soon be doing self takes in the water wearing these even when it's not cold or rsining.

only someone daft enough to want a waterproof beanie would go carping when it's minus 5 and the lakes are frozen and carp are not feeding. Only go when I need the hat to keep the sun out my eyes and stop it burn g my rapidly bolding head.

Good quality you are having a laugh, a cheap and nasty acrylic beanie with a fleece lining. Available at Primark or Asda for £5 without the rubber badge.
A quality beanie for all weathers is pure merino wool and that will cost over £25 for a decent one.

And the rest. My fjallraven merino beanie and its the best hat ive ever owned. Im on the beach twice a day with the dog with howling gales blowing off the north sea and my head has never been cold. Its the only hat that has ever kept my head warm. Ive had rab, montane and north face beanies but none have came close to the fjallraven. You cant beat a bit of merino for warmth.

Yes a shame really, greed getting the better of them. Still quality gear though, there pants are all i wear, very expensive but last for ever.
