If you can find them online an old meat mincer with its finest attachment turns peanuts into a brilliant carpet feed, releases a lot of the oils for warmer month fishing also

The particle plate for the RM device is good too. Chopping them up fine before soaking them in boiling water for a day or two gives you a lovely milky and oily liquid to cloud up your swim.

I have been using Coke (non-diet) for many years, ever since I saw the first mention of its use on another forum (now extinct) outlining is use with tiger nuts.****. I first used it with peanuts about ten years ago, and wrote that Haith's Blog about Coke'd peanuts in late 2015. It was published online in 2016 as Stoned Nuts Rule, OK?.
(**** I made this point in the Stoned Nuts Blog linked to below)
(Was it our own TCarper who outlined the use of Coke?)

Thanks Ken
Heard of its use in Tigers but not peanuts.
Still not fully understanding what the Coke does though-is it acting as a pimped soaking agent or does it make the peanut react to create a residue (am i missing something)?

It is thought by some that caffeine and/or taurine are attractive to carp. Don't know about that but I know they have a sweet tooth.

Ken, try something called high fructose corn syrup if you can find it. It's fantastic.

Glucose and fructose are brilliant additives in boilies as sugars that carp can readily detect. I've not used them in particles as always found syrups to be better.
Available as “Karl” brand light corn syrup or isoglucole syrup in Europe.
Not banned like a lot think we just don't use it over beet products like the Americans

Not the Corn Syrup that Mark put people onto, that's £30.99 for 5kg.
The Karo (not Karl?) syrup you mention yes, £5-8'ish. You're only getting 500ml for that though.
Karo-Light-Corn-Syrup-473ml - This one?
