I think the term is well used,unless you're selling them then it's used for 1 week in France

Get a set of Basia QDX's. The paint chips just by looking at them.

Very well used Sam,but they are tools and serve you very well,that's for sure..

My father,used to say ,fishing gear is not a fashion statement,the end result is fish on the bank,and you certainly do that mate..

My son ,same as you,..mind you his trangia needs a polish..

Not a fashion statement, true, but I do not see why people dont keep their gear clean and look after it, after all, we spend a lot of time moaning about how much it all costs.

They do chip eventually, I think it is much more noticeable due to the blueish colour over the black plastic base. I've 4, had them since the year dot, three get used 2/3 nights a week (sometimes more) and show wear, chipping especially on the stem, rotor, and the gold anodising as rubbed off the bail roller end cap, the forth is used occasionally and is in much better condition, admittedly they are carried bare so I'd expect a few knocks etc. they are tools at the end of the day, to be used and not stored/ooked at in a display cabinet.

I got stuff I use, Heff,way over 30,35 yrs old still good as new..

I really look after my stuff to be fair,especially as It didn't come easily,young family back then etc..taught me a valuable lesson..
