I've found consistency issues too. Creamino liquid seems to change every batch, buoyancy of hookbaits changes. I think at its best is great bait but you think you'd nail down quality control.

Alfie and Gaz on board.
Thought they were both quite happy at Aquabaits and Sticky.
Interesting times.

They gave you 4kg of bait and some hook baits to replace bait you had bought 6 months ago?

Yeah, I bought 10kg. Of a bait that was too soft.

I just cant believe they would give you any kind of refund for it being too soft after 6 months. Actually, i cant belive after 6 months you would complain.

It is when you have loads of crayfish in the water you fish. Irrespective of this, a frozen boilie should be able to withstand having a baiting needle pushed through it without breaking the hookbait in half, don't you agree? Even if they are 6 months old.

Why wouldn't you complain? Had 2 previous batches that were spot on, and the 3rd batch wasn't. Don't really see the relevance of them being 6 months old, they would have been soft if I'd opened them on day 1. It just happened that I had some of the previous batch left over so didn't open them until the following summer.

Never had any issues with their bait. One of the best that I have ever used.

Its a 6 month old fresh food item that you're complaining is soft. Id have expected most companies to kindly tell you where to go.

Good customer service that. Even when your not legally obliged to replace. To still offer something in way of compensation keeps the customer happy and hopefully coming back for more.

So does anyone feel they have had a ‘bad batch' of bait other than the time mentioned? I have heard this on a few occasions now with regards to Baitworks. I have to say I love some of their products. I would be gutted to feel I could not trust them if there was legitimate consistency issues. Its scrambling my little fishing brain a bit lol

That's why I stopped using them Scotty. Time on the bank is valuable and you want to be fishing as efficiently as possible with baits that are up to the job.
I'd used Atlantic Heat for about 3-4 years and really rated them, they're top draw boilies. Just didn't want to run the risk again.

Been using them for a few years now, 1st Atlantic Heat, more recently Monster Red and never had any issues with quality, that said I only use about 50-60kg per year.
My experience is Top notch quality and service all the way.
