Unless you use multiple setups but like to have one net, sling etc and just clip on the rods you want. It actually makes perfect sense

Nonsense - I'm way too lazy to swop rods in and out . . .triple sleeve for main rods / double sleeve for stalking & floater fishing / double sleeve for beach-caster floater fishing / double sleeve for barbel rods / double sleeve for coarse float rods. . . .
I have actually just bought 'another' for barbel and this IS a compact 3 rod quiver . . .only reason is my third rod (3 piece trotting rod) will only attach to the double sleeve but in place of my 45" brolly . . .so this way I can take both!

How is that nonsense when you say you own 5 rod sleeves and a quiver due to laziness. At a guess a rod sleeve costs £50 average, so you've paid an extra £250. Some people can't warrant that amount of cash on multiple sleeves (including me) for multiple jobs so I believe his point still stands.

I find the thinking anglers sleeves and quiver much quicker to use than a tri sleeve, but i did use tip tops on my rods to stop them rattling about in the tri sleeve. The thinking anglers sleeves are best of both worlds. Pit rods in, clip together, pit butts into quiver pouch and strap them on. Hardly a faff. And takes up less room in the bivvy, and weighs less.

Yes I've spent cash over the years on multiple set ups (I didn't buy them all at once!) but just find it easier to grab the rod sleeve of choice for the specific situation in hand. This also includes different nets / banksticks etc . . .do the same with luggage - have a dedicated carp carryall / a dedicated floater & stalking carryall / a barbel rucksack / a small float fishing rucksack . . . there is some duplication in terminal tackle however I find this way I can grab the small time windows I have and NEVER forget something essential (because I haven't had to swop and change from another set up . . )
I must have OCD as I do the same with buckets and bait . . .

i have the TA quiver, love it personally. i use it with the tip tops and reel pouches.

I always go back to the Aqua RS4 with hood. Rods are in TA elasticated tip-tops with the Aqua neoprene reel pouches. Inside the main body I have my 2 piece 8ft net, retention sling, throwing stick and distance sticks.
I have tried various multi-rod sleeves and find them a pain and bulky to store and I can honestly say I can get my rods out and back in much quicker with my quiver set up than a rod sleeve and it is half the weight and bulk to store. With the hood on the Aqua quiver I feel my rods are just as protected as in a 3 rod sleeve.
I tried the TA quiver and really liked the main body but not the sleeves. Whether it was just my rods and reels they didn't fit right and there was about 5 inches of spare sleeve flapping around at the top with my reels jammed up against the top of the reel pouch area. Super light system though, just not for me.

All well and good if you've the room for that lot . I have a 1 bed house with no garden or outbuilding so multiple rod bags is a massive waste of precious space

I think it's a good idea what you've done nothing worse getting to lake no scales or tackle box or bait ect ect because I forgot to move it from other bag different types of fishing should be separated into there own luggage then you just grab it and go
