well looks like im not getting any tech black any time soon. what would people recommend in place of it? my main reason for using tech black was the low stretch and how tough it was. ive only used that and fluoro for past 10 years i think so i have no clue what other lines are like
like i so low stretch is top of my list, from what i can see there is touchdown, cm90, esp syncro (not sure if this is low stretch) id be struggling after that so any recommendations will be welcome

I did see it in there but says the 15lb is .35mm but it's always been .38mm . I've emailed them to ask which they have

When it was sold in tins the 15lb rated Tech black was always 0.35 in Europe and 0.38 here, would think it's all rated the same now in the different packaging but not 100% on that.
It's not the line it used to be I can say that for certain...glad I emptied a few shops in France when I did.

The stuff from europe that was labelled up as .35 was actually .38 when measured
well the spool of .35 I ordered from a european seller on ebay was anyway

I spooled up more recently with some “tech black” that came in a plastic box, soon ripped it off and went back to ESP XT
As I remember the tech black it is what I would call a line of it's own with a weird extra slick coating, when you inspected it you could see all the nicks in it after a while, it was proper tough stuff
The last lot I got was utter crap, felt wiry in comparison and did not feel the same at all to me, could be wrong? Either way I won't touch it again, I am guessing it's a rebranded cheap Crap Alternative?

I thought I had bought some , but it turned out to be the loaded version. I'll use it anyway, but it will teach me to double check what I'm clicking on before I order again.

Mono shortage seems widespread at the moment. You will struggle to get CM90 also (18lb is about but no 15)

Ordered a spool of 12 lb dark Technium from Club 2000 carp tackle and waiting for it to be delivered , I'll let you know if it's the black one if it turns up . The code was correct but it was listed alongside Invisitec .
