Your right. F.R customs has made spare oscillator sliders (from what I gather are the main weak point) I got a set and snapped mine. He's selling them for £50 each plus pnp! Bit steep imo but If you need it then it is kind of what It is

The rack and pinion gearing wears on them , if someone made those it would solve that issue

Think I'll keep mine, even though I don't fish big waters these days. TBH I find them so good I'd even fish the margins with them! Got four sets of spare spools too, 16 in total, all fully loaded. I am going to keep this thread for the missus. I don't want her to sell them cheaply!
