Korda touchdown for me in 12lb (actually breaks at 18lb) only the 12lb as the higher breaking strains are awful

Were you? I have a full spool in 15lb, it didn't even make it onto my reels , I tied some knots with it that pig tailed like crazy and I just couldn't bring myself to use it...

I know what your saying mate. However i found that using a four or five turn grinner knot seemed to work okay for me. What knots were you using?
I bought some ESP syncro xt before that and I thought that pig tailed far worse compared to the Gardner stuff.

Oh and I don't know if makes much difference but I was using the 18lbs not 15lbs?
