I just think labour have lacked a charismatic leader who can engage with the public, it's the one skill Tony Blair had when Gordon Brown came to power he just didn't have that engaging personality.
At the end of the day you need to be bit of a salesperson to convince joe public yes policies are important but you need to be able to engage with all.

Labour at the moment is dead in the water. Wants a radical reshuffle some of the stuff they were claiming would put us even more on our arse, I mean, just imagine if JC had got in, what a tool
Said it before, there is a clue in the name, Labour, the ones who looked after the working man, mr average. Now they look out for the scroungers of which this country is becoming saturated with
As for Truss, probably the best of a bad bunch, at least Sunak the multi millionaire did not get in, let's hope there is some level headed thinking from Mrs average but what a total **** up she has got to sort out!

I agree that Labour need another leader. Starmer arrived a few years late. In the era when politicians and politics were seen as a bit boring, he would have done well - he's a serious, honest and principled bloke.
Somehow people like Farage and Johnson have converted the audience of an average Jim Davidson show into card carrying tories, simply because they think they're a laugh ... someone you could have a pint with and moan about all the brown folk in town. Decent conservative voters must find it pretty depressing. As for decent conservative MPs, they're very thin on the ground after Johnson got rid of 90% of them.
Labour should play them at their own game, get a leader who hates the right while being a good laugh. I'd vote for Frankie Boyle.
