Do you mean at the rear, I'm sure Keith could do a shorter bar if so? The splay on the fantail can be set to whatever you want at the front, hence the Q

bag arrived thanks Stuart - its miles ahead of the original Jag RP-1 bag which for me is pretty poor and id highly recommend it if anyone is after a bag for there rp-1
Also to anyone looking at the rp-2 its no differnet to the rp-1 just wider and extendable - quite a bit bigger than the rp-1 so dont expect anything radical

Cheers Rob, I dont know what to get now if rp2 is to big. Now looking at a solar blacklite world wide pod but no idea what to get.

I sold my Rp1, I found it quite tight with Daiwa castizms even though there not a big reel but recon they would look silly on the Rp2 after seeing pictures of it. Probably should have kept the Rp1 😂

I have sold my RP1, I now own a solar A1 Ground pod.
It's so much easier to get my rods level (well we all know rods must look perfect before a carp will take one's Bait)
Yes the RP1 set up time is rapid but I don't regret selling my rp1.
Jag workmanship is excellent but unless I had a theodlite I couldn't get my rods right.

Interesting - it lists the same width front and back (12 and 10inch) and same weight. Guessing they have just used the wrong/RP1 measurements.

No pictures though. I got a stainless solar worldwide pod last year, so I'm going to have to be very impressed with the rp2 before I think of changing pod so soon.

Ive got pictures - nothing to see exactly the same just bigger - Ive shared them with Gerry hopefully hell post - Id suggest its 50% bigger than the Rp 1
Its taken me years to learn that the latest release doesnt mean better
