Not for me either, much prefer the the solar universal even though it takes a little longer to setup and costs more with all the extras.

The real beauty of the new pod over and above any pod ive had before is the speed in which you can assemble it litterally take it out the bag splay it out and im fishing and the same when packing away
The nano/micro pod is fiddly and then you would get pod twist unless you tightened the stage stands with an allen key
the super compact I like but again getting the snag posts in is a pain in the ass
The RP1 pod i simply unfold out the bag and im away

I agree had a worldwide found it fiddly you can have to many adjustments sometimes

Agreed, Ww pod is more fiddly but those fiddly bits are what gives it the adjustment this doesn't have.
And the trident achieves the same as this pod but doesn't look wonky or wobbly. I know it's an impression from a photo but it certainly doesn't look like it should cost more than a trident.
It looks good in 2 rod format closed up but in these pics it's all over the place

It is extended all be it not fully ill measure it fully extended when Im out next
In a 2 rod set up you can have it however you like at whatever splay you like - that was the same with the supercompact though if you didnt use buzz bars and had it on single sticks
I cant compare to other pods but for me its the best one jag have produced
