I'm looking for recomendations for the best walled unhooking mat. The walls need to be sturdy and stay in place if the fish gets agitated and tries to get out. TIA.

I love my trakker sanctuary deluxe. Its extremely well padded and it literally folds into place takes seconds to erect/put away (No zips or velcro straps to get jammed over time). The mat itself can also be used on the water. Only negative is its bulky but that doesnt bother me

I’ve got the larger of the two Wychwood walled mats and really like it, but it’s quite bulky when packed up, although it goes on my barrow or in the boat fine.

I have supplied the Fox Carp master Deluxe walled mats for the last few years and they have been excellent and that's with them living outside 24/7/365.

I recently bought a Sonik Bank-Tek unhooking cradle for UK use. Not had it on the bank yet but does seem well padded and very sturdy.
For my French trips, i use a Trakker Sanctuary Deluxe Oval crib.

The large Prologic Inspire one is great for the money, doesn’t weigh a ton either

I seriously considered getting one of those in the large size, but having previously owned the Gardner Asylum mat/cradle and the zips seizing up through rain/grit splatter within 3 trips, decided never to get one with zips ever again. Settled on the Wychwood walled mat (large) in the end and been very happy with it, since buying it in March.

I've fairly recently bought a new walled cradle and having compared a large number settled on the Trakker Deleuxe based on it having the thickest base padding (90mm) and there being no zips to get stuck/fail - it is bulky when packed away though and the bag is a bit naff.
The Wychwood was a very close second choice though and seems a well put together piece of kit with good all round padding and is definitely worth considering.

struggled for ages to find the right one - balanced between size, weight etc. After several expensive mistakes found what i think is the perfect one - Sonik Bank tek cradle.

Recently bought one. Getting its first outing this weekend. First thoughts is that it does seem well padded and sturdy.
