I know there have been lots of threads reg. the best landing nets so apologies if I bring this up again.
BUT, having lost one part of my 2 part landing net pole (there are no replacements and it was a cheapo net anyway...) I am in need of a new landing net preferably with a 2 piece handle in 6 or 8ft.
I would rather buy a really good if not one of the best landing nets out there. And I would prefer it to be a cool custom landing net and not a Fox, Korda etc..
Unfortunately the Chiltern nets are only available in the summer again.
I have a 36" Chris Brown but there are only 1 piece handles available as far as I know.
300 quid is stretching it a bit too much for me for a landing net.
So is there something custom or small brand currently available thats available in 42", 2 piece and up to 200 GBP?
If not I might buy something cheap and wait for the Chiltern net...

Chris Brown does (or did) 2 piece handles; I have one.
He also supplied me with custom fittings (FOC) to allow me to combine a 6ft and a 3ft section.

I bought a 9ft (6ft + 3ft) Chris Brown net a few months ago.
From memory it was just under £200.

Interesting...too bad to hear that another great company seems to go downhill quality wise.
My 36in net arrived with the arms broken during transport.
Not their fault.
Within 4 days I had free replacements here in Germany...

I had a special made for Barbel fishing last year and the 36 inch net was superb as was the telescopic handle. Before that i had a 44 inch net with a 6ft pole and 3ft screw in extension.
Both nets are in fibreglass but are very light and very stiff, could not be better in my opinion.

Look at Johnson Ross tackle website they have just released their matrix 3k landing net handles in 3 different lengths in 2 piece in both 8ft and 6ft and a 9ft telescopic version could pair it up with their matrix black allow spreader block and net arms and mesh for well under your budget of £200 . I have their one piece handle landing net and it's a quality landing net with nice stiff handle on it . U won't be disappointed
