I'm about ready to pull the trigger in the purchase of a new power barrow. Have to buy sight unseen.
Read some reviews about Nash, Carp Porter and Fox.
The Fox one power plus ( 3 wheel ) is my favourite so far.
Whats your Power Barrow and why?

When I 1st saw them all I could think was the same, that and how long have you had to design/copy others designs and make something a LOT better

mmh. I'm looking for the best barrow available.
Are Nash or Carp Porter any better , more stabil, better Material ?
Or should i wait for the Solar barrow, even it is 12V

Carp-porter are not that well made now imo,i really rate my Fox Transporter barrow.I will just get a kit for that if I ever need one,shame fox used cheap components on the power version

I'm thinking of doing the same. I'm very happy with my Trakker Xtrail Gravity, even more so with different handles and rear wheels. Iirc there's a recent thread on fitting the kits and lipo batts somewhere.

Ive got the big nash power barrow, its big heavy and feels unstable, i brought the wheels to go on the back but they are useless if its slightly uneven or off camber you still have to lift it to stop it turning over, much prefer my carp porter fat boy for stabability would love to put a motor on that wheel, its rusty old but light and well balanced, theres nothing wrong with the nash power, itts silent but just makes me knackered lifting it is so heavy think im less knacked with non power one theres no weight on your arms with the old carporter, if you load the nash front heavy feels very unmanageable, cant comment on other power barrows but the nash one certainly wasnt what i thought it would be its not effortless just hard work keeping it straight and upright on uneven paths, not sure what the perfect one is.

Love my Nash Trax Power Metro (the smaller Nash variant) Perfect overall size / strong frame with no loss connection thumbscrews / a nicely designed battery compartment / integrated cables. Improved power and range can be achieved with LifePO4 batteries; the best all round mod you can buy for this barrow IMO. Supplied rear wheel kit is pants and not worth using however the barrow buddies swivelling rear wheel kit takes load capacity and manoeuvrability to another level!

do a search on here ive had every power porter carp porter made and now have two nash power barrows the big and the small one
pros and cons to both which i talk about in detail in my previous posts - ultaimately the carpporter is more solid and the electric connectors are miles better than the nash but the nash housing and bags are miles better
as mentioned the lipo batteries are a no brainer
I use mine with the rear wheels and without and not had any issues with either to be honest
if i was buying again id probably consider a conversion of sorts or wait for the new solar as everything they make is bullet proof in my experience

Ive got the same barrow the smaller nash one, It works well, Its perfect for me although the frame is a bit of a lump to get back into the car boot at the end of a session. I got mine for 650 i think if not cheaper. Got a set of bigger capacity duracell batteries and it runs for miles. The connecting plugs are a rubbish design though and i fear they will eventually get damaged they do need to be looked after. Overall very good for me. Not sure if you want to take the kitchen sink you may want a bigger barrow.

Slightly changing the subject but does anyone know of any adapter kits I can utilise either my 36v Bosch batteries or my 18v Milwaukee batteries?

I'd only invest in one if I was desperate, the prices are way off what im prepared to pay for a wheel barrow with a motor on.. I still have to lift the thing
However, if and when the tackle manufacturers come up with one with 4 wheels more like a collapsible cart with turning front wheels and the whole thing is operated by remote like a remote controlled car it would become an instant priority on my shopping list, that's a true game changer
