I have always sung this companies praises,well not anymore.My mat and my mates mat have both faded badly and now I'm worried it will lose its waterproofing.TA don't give a **** and nor does the shop it was purchased from,they are passing the buck to eachother.Im not sure what to do now

Goods must be fit for purpose
Of reasonable quality
And last a reasonable length of time

Your contract is with the shop you bought it from and it is their problem.
They have the account with TA not you

If no joy
Ask you bank to see if you can get them to issue a charge back on your card

And if that don't work name and shame..

You've had it a circa a year, I mean you could be a 100 night a year angler?

Don't think you'll get anywhere with that one I'm afraid

It'll be UV that's done it, yours will look same as the time you stored it

So about 35 nights a year. Yeah I would expect better too. Could always fabsil it for peace of mind.

I'm not happy about it at all,will see what shop say tomorrow now

I've done close to 100 nights with mine, haven't had any issues with it. Great mate imo

The mat itself is very good,just don't think it should be fading like it has

How many nights it has been used would be irrelevant in regards to his consumer rights. If he used for 364 days and it failed on the 365th he would still be covered.

Bit of fading makes it look more carpy. As long as it isn't falling apart I wouldn't worry too much about it.
