Anyone know if I need to read Micky's books in sequence or does it not matter?

That first book is up there with one of the best books on Carp fishing ever written. Funny and moving. Well worth a read if you can get a copy.

Very difficult and expensive to get. A book I would love to have in my collection but can't justify paying the going price for it. Got the 2nd and loved it

The last couple I saw were at £120 when I stopped watching so not sure what they went for. There's one on EBAY at the moment asking £115 and another auction with £90 set as minimum but lots of time left

Yep, totally agree. One of the very few books I pick up time & time again to read. He makes me laugh so much - both of his books are true classics of carp fishing literature. I know he's on this forum... about time he sanctioned a reprint for everyone out there looking for a great read or even publish it in on some kind of kindle / digital thingy. One of the few books I
would never lend out...

Don't know why more anglers don't release kindle versions - it's not like it will affect the sales of their books as they are sold out. People don't want to take books with them out and about in case they get messed up.
Might also stop the silly prices for second hand ones for people that actually want them, rather than speculators

Ive read a couple of fishing books on the Kindle (I average around 6 books a month on my Kindle which i use daily for travelling) and its just not the same, ive currently got Keith Jenkins "The Myth" on my Kindle and cant get on with it, the pictures make a fishing book for me.

Worth keeping an eye on FB marketplace too, often you can pick them up for cheaper than on eBay

I do know what you mean - definitely not the same as having a real book to hold and feel - like you, I read a lot on the kindle and it means I can read at stupid o'clock without having to
turn a light on and wake the wife! Publishing on a kindle means making old books out of print accessible to a whole new readership / audience and while it's not the same as having the real thing it does mean a new lease of life and makes these type of books more accessible.

I know it's not the same as a book, but so many people are priced out of reading the old books and just have YouTube to go by.
You would've thought the authors wouldn't mind a couple of quid!
You still get the pics on tablets (rather than kindle)
