There's blatant cheating and constant accusations of cheating now. It's the reason i won't fish it anymore. Used to really enjoy it

was told by someone fishing the last qualifier, it would be their last as there was some very dubious things going on that made it, he thought, impossible to compete against fairly.
BCAC claim they have process' in place to stop cheating
Id like to hear exactly what they have in place to stop people breaking rules relating to bait application.

The process is simple. Ban anyone who accuses anyone of cheating.

When i last fished it, those that were suspected of cheating simply roped their pegs off (all using exactly the same tape so they were either all cheating together, or the organisers/marshalls supplied it) so that no one could get anywhere near and nothing could be confirmed

Posted this before , they help a qualifier or whatever they call on a venue near me when the fish were full on spawning and refused to postpone it and those competing didn't seem to bothered. Speaks volumes about the organisation and those that fished it at that time.

Mainly using naturals when they were banned, especially maggots that have been banned for years. No one on boilies and particle can compete with 20kg of worm or 20 gallons of maggots
You can of course add hormones to the mix depending on what you believe.
A certain pair were destroying it on b1 but were super aggressive if anyone even stood by the tape around their swim. Even the marshalls were invloved in it which led to more people going for a look. The pair just reeled in for almost 18 hours and got pissed instead. They still won
Couple got booted from a match on farlows for returning a fish then sneaking it back into a retainer and saying they caught it again 8 hours later

Good luck to anyone who enjoys and enters, but personally - my idea of hell. 
I used to be a marshal at chilham mill when the bcas were held there,when someone caught a fish they would call you for you to officially weight the fish and it was the marshal who released the fish (I did any how).
As far as I know no one cheated when I was there and the only time there was a little problem was when marsh pratley left a bin bag full of rubbish in his swim which I believe was sent back to him 😀👍

What a fish, but he's clearly had to cheat to get it - The Number 1, 2 & 3 at Walthamstow are closed until June 16th.
