Anyone done it. what were the results like
I have never done it and due to the low nutritional value of tiger nuts, i would not think this was a wise decision....
Might be better pre-baiting with mixed particles with a few tigers in the mix....
If i do fish with tigers a small old pop up pot with them in should easily last 48hrs

Zero skills. Clowns that need to catch at all costs that set a poor example to the noddy and the OP.
Fortunately I fish a water that's never had a noddy or clown walk through its gate.
A handful of Tigers would last a season.

Not referring to you as a noddy! Referring to the large amount of inexperienced anglers who will see this type of thing and pile in large amounts of tigers which in the wrong hands can be detrimental to fish health.

I think your (pre-) baiting strategy should always be a function of the water you fish. Therefore, in many situations no problem whatsoever, but on some waters you should restrict yourself.

You'd need to be putting them in by the truck load on some of the huge inland seas of Europe to be classed as heavy baiting.

The Jim Gibbinson answer is around 4 pouches of tiger nuts around your hookbait.
When I was on Alton Water, which is 400acres, for each 5litre bucket of particles, I had 500grams of tiger nuts in the mix.
I'd only prebait 2 nights before I fished, and if I was doing 4nights or more I would put a bucket of particles and a bucket of Vitalin in when I arrived to hold the fish.
Strangely enough my Vitalin and particle mix wasn't a bream attractor. I don't think that the numbers of bream in there are particularly high, or I was just lucky.

It really is water dependant , size of water number/size of fish and what you class as heavy pre baiting .
