Ecuador very comfortable and stayed in 1st gear after taking a two goal lead in the first half. Looking forward to more. Expecting England to trounce Iran tomorrow, though it's England, anything can happen.

Agree that tomori should be in the squad. The maguire situation is a joke. Same with pickford. Both only in because Southgate 'likes' them rather than talent, ability or even form.

El hadj diouf comes to mind.... absolute tool of a player.
I'd rather have Bellingham than Rice tbh. And if the Mason mount rumours are true I'd be OK with that.

Good result, nice to see lots of our forwards getting on the scoresheet, which will be great for their confidence. Need to tighten up in defence as to concede two against a poor side (albeit one dodgy penalty) suggests a more potent side will certainly be finding the net.
Need some consistency with VAR generally.
Wales looked awful for most of their game, slightly better last 20 mins and probably just about earned their draw.

We actually brought El Hadj Diouf before that World Cup, just wasn't finalised until after.
Agree with him being a tool though lol
I'd take Bellingham over Rice any day of the week. He could be the Gerrard replacement, I don't think Rice would. Just my opinion. I think Rice plays better for England that he does West Ham, I don't see "it" when he plays for West Ham but do in an England shirt. Different tactics/responsibilities I suppose and obviously don't see him week in/week out.
Bellingham just looks like he has a bit of everything and younger.
Would take both mind

Iran were no competition really but as the old saying goes, you can only beat what is in front of you.
Argentina and Messi failing again. Some peoples favourites, not mine.
Uruguay are my dark horses. Brazil and France will be the teams to beat.
