I suffer with massively cold feet in the winter which stops me going as much as I'd like to.

Slipper/heat holder socks (fleece lined ones) and Vass R boots

Skeetex wellies used them for year's, had the original one's in the early 90s when I was a avid pike angler then and we had proper winter's

Another vote for Skeetex boots, too warm for the UK most of the time if anything.

Once had a pair of skeetex boots and I couldn't understand if my feet were burning up or freezing up. Turned out they were freezing up.

The Ultralight or the Thermal boot? The thermal are have been tested to -50 on Polar expeditions, you'd have to either have very sweaty socks or awful circulation to get cold feet sitting by a lake in the UK.

Try the chemical footwarmers that you shake to activate. I use those now. Ive had sundridge hotfoots to big bulky and sweaty.
Baffin outbacks not warm enough on toes.
and now brasher hillmasters with thin merino socks early on and to barrow and setup.or lined crocs with toe warmers, saves loads of weight and money.
I use thick bridgedale expediation wool socks , foot warmers and lined winter crocs for when it gets cold

Heat holders are great socks, thinner pair under them as well helps.
Oddly if I'm just sat there not moving my feet are actually alot colder when in shoes / boots ( including skeetex) where as if I just sit in socks they are warmer.
I also brought some north face Mule slippers which are really warm to sit in, but they aren't waterproof and have no grip so depending where your fishing they likely wouldn't be much use.

So this is sort of my experience. I have lovely old thick pair of Bridgedale socks
And I wear them with some winter lined crocs. Just have holes in the top, not sides.
And my feet are warmer then in a boot. I think it's because they are roomier
And the airflow stops sweating. At about 5pm I slipped a footwarmer into each one
Maybe twice all last winter.
