I've got some shi ty Fox Mx alarms with receiver which are dying.
I need some replacements. I've looked at the price for Rx pluses and can't justify the £700
The three I've narrowed it down to are
Neville mk3
R4 Nash
Delkim TXi
I know the Nevs are very different but looking at battery life, silent modes and reliability which are the best option in people opinions.

You can pick up 2nd hand NTXRs for about 350 mate.

Love the NTXR'S, I would take a serious look at a good second hand set personally. Dont use the delks with braid it will over time knacker the vibration sensor.

Fox won't fix them their long discontinued they tell you contact Dale Henwood aka Dalectronics who does all fox alarm repairs as it states in fox website under contacts

delkim they have never in their time trading had a groove from braid in the sensor

I think you will find it cuts into the sensor over time. If it can grove metal guides, why do you think a bit of plastic would stand up to it?

If that's the case, why haven't delkim (with their very very good customer service) ever replaced any?
And a sensor which has braid or line running over it for a matter of seconds under some light load, and a guide which had the braid or line running backwards and forwards over it under lots of tension can't really be compared,can they?!

My choice would be the Nevs
I've had the Txi-d's and didn't like them personally, There was nothing wrong with them I just missed the simplicity of the Nevs
Not owned the Nash alarms but a friend I was fishing with last month had a run and came out to find the line had cut at least an inch into the side of the alarm and he was only using mono,
I've never seen anything like it before.....
The battery life on the Nevs last forever and have a silent function and sensitivity, although this isn't as adjustable as the other 2 alarms
The cases are a bit fragile so you just need to be carful when tightening them down

It only grooves metal guides as the braid is under stacks of pressure on the guide with a fish on over a much longer period of time. Theres hardly any pressure on the alarm sensor on a delkim with the line passing over the top of it.
