Has anyone bought a decent Moon Chair without the Carp Tax, looking to take one abroad where weight is no issue. Don't really want to shell out for a Nash one when I will use it once a year.

Outwell and regatta do them,I don't find them that comfy to be honest.I sat in the Nash one and after half an hour was glad to get out of it

Loads of people do them, bloody comfortable they are too( unless you've eaten too many oatcakes)....

I'm sat in one right now. It's from Urban Escape, think I got it from Halfords. Any it's blue and plenty comfortable enough for me (another lardarse).

The Urban Escape one was a Which mag best buy

Im on my 2nd nash moon chair and they are comfortable as anything. Tbf if you pay £100 for a chair that's lasts 3+ years hardly expensive

Unpopular opinion but I found mine the most uncomfortable chair I've ever owned sold mine after giving it a couple sessions and got a Trakker levelite recliner (new version) and a fox r2 recliner both way better than my moon chair

the fact you found moonchairs uncomfortable is not an Unpopular opinion at all !! they are a marmite type of chair for sure I have fishing friends and a few caravaning friends that bought moonchairs and most of them got rid of them I have just bought a Solar SP C-Tech Reclining Chair and thats on a different level IMO

I have looked at that chair what's it like? Very tempted to get one end of the month (mrs and daughter pinches mine when they come)
