Neither are an investment but for me it would be the tempest.

Trakker all day I now have a tempest for short sessions and an slx v3 2 man for longer ones or winter

Yep, doesn't change the fact neither are an investment though. As already pointed out there is quite a price difference between the two of the ones you have asked about. Both from previous posts have quality control issues so maybe pot luck on which would be best.

If we're gonna go all in [full pedant mode] then when you googled and copied and pasted the definition of "investment" you probably should have expanded the result to see all variations and definitions:
noun: investment; plural noun: investments
* the action or process of investing money for profit.
* a thing that is worth buying because it may be profitable or useful in the future.
* an act of devoting time, effort, or energy to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result.
ARCHAIC
* the surrounding of a place by a hostile force in order to besiege or blockade it.
So the original posters idea of "investment" is probably a little bit of the second and third bullet point combined. Hope that helps![/full pedant mode]

I used to have a Nash titan as pro, got rid of it for a trakker tempest and 100% was the right decision! The titan was a ball ache to put up, the material was so tight it was near enough impossible to get the pegs in, particularly if the ground was slightly uneven. The tempest for me is far better option.
