Looking at investing in some carbon sticks and buzz bars - interested in the century ones and n-Brice gunsmoke anyone seen or used any of these? Is there any other makes I should have a look at?

aluminium stick for stick it's lighter. i had all carbon sticks from century and they were mega but i weighed them next to an aluminium set and i couldn't bare the fact they were heavier and 5 times as expensive

Really- what did you go for to replace it? The quality does look exceptional on the century and n-Brice though.

Been using my Kudos Tackle carbon sticks and bars for 6+ years and love them. Light, strong, well made. Never looked back

Just make sure they are carbin as some smaller sellers claim to be carbon but are just ali sticks with a small wrapping of carbon or sometimes just a wrap, for me i just use ali as they are alot cheaper and still light weight

Definitely check out RAD angling gear, they don't trade anymore, but their gear is amongst the best and most versatile

Had the centurys for a few years and they were superb, had zero issues only changed as i fancied the jag black sticks. A mate has just bought the new direction ones, i don't think he's used them yet so no long term reviews but they certainly looked and felt well made for a tenner each

Yes I have adjustable 3 rod buzz bars and a couple of banksticks from rad angling (no longer exist unfortunately) but it's very decent carbon setup...
Have been looking recently at the custom angling solutions modulas range (alli) looks decent as well...anyone have any reviews on this ? Cheers...

If you're after light, Don't overlook titanium too I've been using defiant stuff since it was released around a decade ago and still going strong.

I have the century 3 rod adjustable buzz bars and carbon banksticks and they are quality made and don't see myself changing anytime soon

Thinking about the slimline - the chunky I'm not sure about goes against being light weight? Do they wear well with marking etc?
