Im sure most of you will at some time tried numerous makes and types of rig boxes and rig wallets. I know I have.

You will have dismissed many until you finally found the perfect one/ones that suited you best.

So which did you settle on? Which are good and which are bad?

Personally, prefer the large one.

Large Korda rig safe for me.

I've opted for the Korda Tackle Safe for the really small bits as I found I couldn't get everything including rig tools, hooks etc in the larger Korda Tackle box. I used to have the original large Fox Box (not the double one) and they was great but too big as far as surface area. I'm getting a Trakker Tackle pouch to keep hooks kept in their packets, hooklink spools and rig tools etc.

You must take some tackle mate. Tackle safe and small Trakker PVA pouch does me just fine.

Another for Trakker (DPM) PVA pouch . . .got rid of all hardcases / annoying mini box dispensers years ago as they are a complete waste of time . . .

That's some kit, I'm thinking of selling my Korda tackle box and going back to the tackle safe because it's bigger than I need. And I tie all my rigs fresh so have everything I use in there

The Trakker Compact tackle pouch is probably slightly smaller than the pva bag mate so no. It's probably the same amount if not, slightly less than what you have. Are you thinking about the same piece of gear?

Or are you packing the Tackle Safe inside the place pouch/bag?

Since restricting myself to the Thinking Anglers rucksack the Trakker PVA pouch is way too big. I was carrying around way too much gear I never used just so I could tie up any rig imaginable on the bank. I never did.

I'm down to the Tackle safe and two of the little thinking anglers pouches. One has a couple of hook links and few types of hooks and the other has the bigger bits like needles and sharpening bits that won't in the Tackle safe.

For rigs I have the longer rig safe and the chod safe. Fly leader pouch thing for leaders. Can now get everything including Trangia for cooking in the TA rucksack.

Admittedly at home I have more gear than angling direct, but at least I'm not carting it about everywhere now !

Ah yeah. I am using a Trakker PVA pouch standard with a tackle safe in the other half.

I thought you was saying you take a korda tackle box and a tackle safe and a trakker tackle pouch !

I get all my end tackle into a CA micro stubby bag. Was even looking to fine that down.

d
