That's a great price,plus you can add bits n bobs to it at a later date..
Although this one doesn't come with a kettle,many hard-core meths or bio heads ,don't bother with it and utilise the space to store essentials instead of a kettle,plus.....boiling water in those pans is just as fast,just use the frying pan as a lid..
I'd get the non stick frying pan for sure approx £12..

Thats a good deal certainly for a new one even if it is minus a kettle
. That mate of mine I mentioned to you the other day,got an ex British Army issue! Trangia 27-2 for the princely sum of £35. Even came with burner and simmer ring. Advised him to get some AUTOSOL too....now who suggested that....

I noticed a few weeks back that Millets have been selling the '27's less kettle at that price. Go outdoors had them also same price when I was in a fortnight ago and Blacks as well, but, end of the day they are all the same chain.

It all seems to be irrelevant now, I have noticed your link Gerry, now has it at £60. Also when I looked at it yesterday when it was priced at £45, it was only for delivery to the Netherlands and to select other buying options for the UK.
The listing for it has also vanished from Blacks and Milletts has only 1 in stock at £45 but even with the postage its still a bargain.
In fact, having a look at Amazon this morning for other things, it seems that Netherlands seems to have different options to how you buy things from that country, Is it a Brexit thing?
I'm beginning to think, my location on my phone thinks I am in the Netherlands for some unknown reason.

It only seems to be using Amazon on the phone where the problem exists. The likes of "What3words" pinpoints me exactly where I am in the UK.
But, when I search for things on Amazon UK, the results are completely different between what I get on the phone and the PC, despite all the sellers are in the UK. Plus I get cheaper prices using the PC than I do on the phone.
Something is amiss.

Three times I have looked at the Trangia 27 on my PC this morning, About 0700 the price was £60, at about 1100, the price had dropped to £57, and at this moment it has gone back up to £60 and this is from the same seller.
But an even better bargain has popped up on the PC, a Trangia 25 cookset, spirit burner, no kettle for £48.49 with Amazon prime, dropped from £65 and the same offer at £49.64, with free postage from Blacks.
It seems the prices are fluctuating like "stocks and shares", probably the best chance of a bargain, is keep checking the prices till you see what your willing to pay.

If you have a Go Outdoors discount card and know someone with a Blue Light Card (Emergency Services Card) you can get the Trangia 25-1 set for £51 (RRP £70). Avoid postage costs (unless it's over £70 which accounts for free delivery) and collect in a selected store.😁👍

As I said, the price is like "Stocks and Shares", up or down, the Trangia 27 cook set is back on sale again at £45, free postage with Prime, otherwise £2.99.
But, once again, they say its out of stock like the original posting. But, it does say that you can still order it and they will let you know when it will be delivered.
With the price going up and down so much on almost an hourly basis from day to day, makes you wonder if there is not a fiddle going on somewhere.

If you go to camelcamelcamel.com you can see the historic price fluctuation for everything on Amazon. For example the Trangia 27 set without kettle was cheapest in Dec 2017 when it was 35 quid.
It's quite an eye-opener.

There was talk years ago it's linked to Alzheimer's but nothing proven I've had trangia 30 years ago I had the non stick pans set the alloy ones are a nightmare food sticking also I Had a kettle great stoves only thing didn't like was the smell of meths was a bit overwhelming
