Have I missed something, or is my phone playing or other as there are thumb icons on posts..

Good idea...,but then...no one would comment as they'd be paranoid no one loved them anymore,anxiety ,depression and more unessential fishing purchases needed to combat un likeness..

No it wouldn't.

The information is stored in the database but the aim for this is to encourage good posts, not for clicky little groups to ego massage each other

Feel free to reply with a post and thank them if it was that helpful...and click on the thumb for icing on the cake.

There are far ruder things to worry about on CarpForum than what people think someone else might think.
For example, argumentative ****s who feel the need to post on every thread and keep arguing if someone disagrees with them.

I was rather hoping this thread was about getting the thumbs up icon on one's profile once one reaches 100 posts as I have been waiting for a chance to bring it to a Moderator's attention.
I modified my profile quite a while ago..

I like the Thumbs up.. nj mods.
A Thumbs down option also, would be great for the forum.
I think it would negate some of the silly squabbles; just click ya thumb down and move on.
