Just bought a NI patrol pack, but it's a little small and tight for me. I only carry 1 bag for everything I'll take for a couple of nights.
Any recommendations for a bit of a bigger rucksack around 45-50litres, with a few side pockets?

Joe,you know you can add or attract the molle system on the outside,that's what I have done in the past..mine comes from kombat UK and it has lots of molle add ons to choose from..
Used mine mainly for camping..,

Cheers Wandle. The actual bag is just a bit too small, can't actually get my two rod buzz bar in flat (old small fox one).
I like the idea of adding pouches, but not to a bag that isn't for me from new, it's still got the tag so I'm just going to return it.

I have the ESP rucksack and the larger speero rucksack. The speero is really good quality and comfy, I would recommend. You can clip on an extension as well for extra space. The ESP is good but more suited to my shorter session. Neither are huge tbh, the speero being the largest.

I use the Nash scope ops recon rucksack and rate it highly. I would check the dimensions though as it's not massive and you would probably struggle to get larger 3 rod buzz bars in the side pockets. My cygnet ones fit in there well though. It's an ideal size for an overnighter or a couple of nights.

I have the 40 litre Saber and the quality is fantastic. Very impressive considering the cost.

the std speero is the best rucksack ive had. Good space, well putt together, can add on space as required.

As said the esp is very comfortable and a good rucksack in that price range the speero luggage is fantastic quality but at a higher price but not overpriced for what it is depends how much you want to pay

Got the Gardener tackle, had for a number of years now. Has main compartment, side pockets and large front, but what sold it to me was the lined bait compartment on top. I've had a fee over the years chopping and chnaging and happy with this one

I'm really happy with my Speero rucksack, great quality and as already said, can add extra modular packs to it. Also if you take out the internal Velcro pouches it increases further.
