Good day all!

Just sitting on the bank and was thinking about my top 3 likes and dislikes when fishing.

Likes -

1. Switching off from work.
2. Being outdoors full of nature.
3. Hearing that Delkim absolutely melting off.

Dislikes -

1. Anglers with there alarms set to 7. (Spinal tap)
2. Seeing litter strewn around the swim.
3. Pooing in a carrier bag.

Anyone else?

2. Having something to focus on/a distraction from every-day life.
3. Sound of the buzzer!

Dislikes -
1. Having to carry everything to and from the swim.
2. Lakes full of people squashed in next to each other.
3. Those sessions where nothing goes right!

2 peace and quiet and no year 9 kids
3 meeting other like minded anglers

Dislikes

1 inconsiderate anglers
2 that last half hour when you need to pack up but the fish think it's a great time to show up
3 finding carrier bags full of poo

That's an interesting 'like' you've got there...

Like.

1.being outside
2. Quiet, relaxing.
3. The chase.


Dislikes.

1. Other anglers.
2. Loud alarms.
3. What bait and rigs mate?
4. People's obsession with casting absolutely anywhere other than the water thats actually theirs.
5. Kevin Nash.
6. When people fish spots they KNOW you've been baiting.
7. People being noisy.
8. People stomping along the bank and talking to you really loudly.
9. Rob Huges.
10. People that keep inviting themselves into your swim.

got so used to "in a bag" over the years its a bit of a ritual now not a good session without one

Only one I disagree with is spots you have been baiting unless it's your own private lake/like the car park full timers picking their swim and leaving each other alone then you have no right to expect people to leave ‘your' spot alone

Keep self to myself.
Piece n quiet. Radio on very low in the background.
Like that I'm fortunate to get out and about. Catching is a bonus.

Loudmouths n drinking.
Being woken up asking if I can photograph them with a fish. Once woken up at 5am. Not best pleased.
Packing up.

Edit - Don't get me wrong I don't mind helping anyone that may be struggling but woken up by someone wanting me to take a photo takes the 9155.

1. That dawn/dusk period
2. Getting away from the missus for a couple days
3. On the rare occasion I actually catch then that's buzz

Dislikes

1. People baiting a swim on a day ticket and expecting others to leave it alone
2. People not taking their rubbish home
3. Packing up
