Not overly price for a kilo of shop bought bait to be honest. If you look on the TB site it's a bird food based bait with the usual glug, hard hookers and pop ups sold to compliment it. If the Tacklebox are putting there name to it you no it's going to half decent.

Not over priced per kg but looking at the site it's still same price for 5k so for £54 per 5k plus p&p they can poke it. Might well be a good bait but I'm guessing it's not that good. Plenty around for a lot cheaper

Lads, not a sales pitch but I know all about this bait, it is rolled exclusively for the tackle box.
My mate had some of the pop ups last spring, fished on his own lake with no competition the fish picked up the tutti 4 bites out of 5 Against an established bait and other bright hookbaits.
May have been the colour don't know, If your into single hookbaits fishing might be worth a try.

Judging from this thread I think some people may be surprised how many 'casual' anglers just walk into a shop and pick up a kilo of boilies off the shelf for a weekends angling. For many buying 5kg of boilies would seem insane and it's these types of anglers this bait is aimed at. Not a serious angler that uses 100kg of bait a season and will spend time on forums like this.

The bait will be around same price as most of the other baits in the shop and knowing tackle box, probably much better than most of them and the fact its one of the most recognisable flavours of all time will mean people will buy it.
Are you sure?
