Hi,
I'm looking for rods that i will finally like lol... I have been searching for a while but here in Canada we have almost no choice and forget about trying in store. Since i am almost never fishing at distance (100m is by far the furthest or i use a boat), i am looking at a strong but through action rod. All i have found is fast taper and only bend in the last half or third of the rod. I would prefer a rod that bend equally thoughout without being too soft. Fish here are mostly around 20 pounds but we have the rare 40+. The things is that they are wild fish and they pull line like crazy. Any input and suggestion are welcome. I am flexible on the price and not in a hurry to buy as winter is coming anyway.

Welcome to the forum
I'm sure you will get lots of help on here.
What line strength do you use, mono or braid and what weights do you tend to use? Snaggy rivers with lots of flow would see you needing to step up but the same could be said on huge lakes with lots of undertow?

I tried to keep it short and forgot so many thing lol. I will be using 50 to 80 pounds braided as zebra mussles and hard fighting carp in the mighty saint-lawrence river make it hard on mono. I also fish a reservoir that for unknown reason have only mirror carp. The reservoir is full of rock, tree and even house lol. I mostly use 3,5 oz lead sometime with method mix.

No worries that info does help a lot.... What rods have you had before that seemed to be too fast action?
I reckon Harrison Torrix might be something you would like, 12ft 3.25lb test curve... Would have the backbone you need considering the snags and zebra mussels... but does have some action going to the butt. It's not a through actioned rod though...
The classic through actioned Harrison is the ballista but I think you might be undergunned on the waters you fish, and the tackle you use will be too heavy for them imo.

Yeah I was considering the torrix but would like to be sure since they are not the cheapest especially with the shipping and duty taxe. I have greys torsion right now. One is a 3,5 (so many hook pull with the braided up close to the net) and the other is a 3,25 that I kind of like. But now I would lile a carpy matching set. I know several people that fish the saint-Lawrence as most carper in quebec/Ontario know each other trough social media. The issue is that everybody got caught up in the trending of the 13 ft 3,75 t.c but we almost never need that. I know I am super picky about my rod but I just want a allrounder set.

Consider the 3lb Harrison acurix - a through action rod. Easily capable of 100m, i have them in 2.75 and they are a delight, can cast 80 yards all day long 100 on a good day.
Failing that consider the Harrison aviator flex, i know nothing about it other than its a smidge less powerful than the torrix 3.25.

Yes the acurix was in my choices also! If I choose to go harrison, I will talk to them to pinpoint what they think would suit me best.

I'm not sure on the accurix for method feeder use, they seemed best with lighter leads for me.
A lot of people overlook the cerebra as its a bit cheaper but it is a lovely versatile blank.
For a rod that casts big loads but bends with a fish I'd be looking towards pike rods tbh

Reading your post, there is no way I would recommend the torrix 3.25, if your looking for a nice playing action, and a rod that bends right through, that ain't the one, I've got a pair.
As others have said, the 3lb Accurix could be a great choice.

I would go for hand build option on one of these blanks and then with 7 eyes instead of 6 for more fish playing fun.
Also check if any sells CTS blanks in your country,.

For the action you want and able to cast heavy loads I would look at ballister's in high tc, don't be put off by test curve as the action is more important.
See if you can get a set of these. Lovely through action in 2.75lb
