What I have learnt is most people are observing the social distance rules...

However,tonight I'm seeing cars with sat navs,roof boxes and very clean,smart out of county cars, range rovers, posh Audi, Beemers,obviously these people are still travelling to have a holiday...or second home..

Devon and Cornwall is closed..

What they don't realise,is locals in this area Will,report them...and give a nice go faster stripe too,boot... free of charge...

Over ,650 greedy ,selfish...people have been reported,spoken to and sent packing...

We have only one hospital to serve the area mate..

Last week,26 covid cases,19 of which were holiday people..

Cornwall and Devon is closed...

Police,on A30,A38,A361....etc..if they are caught,will be sent back..Simple....👍

I hear what your saying but there is no need for people to key cars 👎👎

I can't be responsible for other peoples actions,..

Time and again,government is saying NO unessential travel,a second home,or holiday is not essential.., at this time..

These people think they are,special above the law,they are not,just got a bit of money...is all,...seriously, I think the strength of feeling about this is huge..

We don't want em,...lol....everything is shut anyway..

My neighbour,he's a parish councillor, in touch with all the other parish councillor's, they have a list of..

Airbnbs
Sykes
Cornish cottages
Second home owners....

All have been notified of the travelling laws,especially, now this weekend,so far....according to my neighbour..eleven groups in this parish,visited by them,and asked to leave..

The hospital is always over busy,they can't deal with any extra demand,because a surfer,for example,who is 'self isloating'gets Ill

I'm far from exzenaphobic, as I invivte many people down to fish,foc....

Sounds like criminal misuse of protected data there

Don't think Cornwall is unique in having overly busy hospitals, I have four hospitals inside a 20 minute drive, each dealing with a local population greater than the summertime population of Cornwall.
If I'd had a country bolthole and the funds to ride this out I would have been out of London a month ago

Our hospital is one hour, and ten mins away ,mate,that's either Derriford,or Treliske..

Its not just the Southwest,Wales,Scotland,Scottish Highlands ,Cumbria, etc,etc...they all saying stay away,come back later..

Even if a person had a country bolt hole,which was not their main address,ie a second home,in this current situation,people are being advised/told to remain at their permanent address,which I think is correct...the press, and Tourism bosses are advocating full time residents to contact them,with info regarding the use of bolt holes/second homes,whatever you want to call them...

This has been all on our media in this area...and is perfectly correct,no one needs to travel,at this time...like I already touched upon,there have been cases already of holiday makers bringing 19 down,.....hence...

That's right duggs,it is fear based, most probably the fear ,unease and sense of forboding that undoubtedly you have,I'd be the same.....

Its the same for everyone,regardless of where they live,everyone I know of is looking out for everyone else...if someone,who is 'self isolating'..read coming surfing,...and clearly not resident, most around here WILL report them..

In one shop, five miles away,you have to prove you are resident,or you won't get served,...its only a small community ,we are looking after our own...

If that makes us vigilantes,then so be it.....and as for lashing out ,they can't because they are morally ,ethically and socially not meant to be here at the moment...

Same as most other rural parts looking out for each other..
