I use a few, depending on the rest of the ingredients

CC Moore live glug is one, hemp oil is another

I also use a homemade chilli, salt and hemp oil mixture that's always fished well for me

Liquid liver, oils, and as marco pierre white would recommend knorr stockpots:P. No really. But, good stick mixes are imo always made days and days in advance, add your liquids, saturate, fluff it up again, repeat. That's the only way i've found to really load them up completely and not end up with a solid lump that takes ages to fall apart.

Found hemp oil over fine boilie crumb to keep the hook point clean then a glug of pure krill liquid over all the pellets boilies etc gives a nice flat spot when you get a take or get done in a big solid bag

The question you have to ask yourself is.... what do you want the 'attractive' liquids of choice to do
Rise up the water column, or sink & disperse and settle around the stick & hookbait area ?

Both would be good if possible. But for my situation, something that sat on the bottom would be good because I don't wanna use/can't use much bait. For different reasons, one water gets pumped full of all sorts of bait from day ticket Anglers. The other water, I physically can't get bait in without getting birds all over me, it's big, shallow and crystal clear?

The other most important thing to check everything you choose to use is the overnight fridge test, whether it is a fish oil, hemp oil, or a fish hydroslate.

Make sure it is still liquid in the morning, there are a lot of CR*P products with carp tax, or supermarket bargins that DO solidify in cold tempertures, even if the label says it is winterised - be warned !!
Rendering your rig & stick mix useless and no chance of a successful pick up.

Also drop in, and check a small stick or two in the edge, with a stopwatch, at the start of each session to gauge the breakdown times.

Firstly and cheapest I would have a look at Liquid molasses, thick & sweet, from Equine suppliers or fishing shops.

Secondly Minamino which is more expensive.
These will lurk around the stick/rig area as these are not oil based.

Minamino is one of the most active and attractive liquids going, it's just the right viscosity for bags, sprays, sticks etc......and carp go nuts for it😉 do some tank tests

Thanks, I don't disbelieve you, I've read a bit about minamino, ambio, fosfor syrup etc, the last part I read was saying all were about 50% sugar? Maybe this is the attraction?

Depends on time of year warm weather use fish oil tin of tuna will do. In cold weather I used bread flake with liquidised sweetcorn and a bit of talin.
