Decent plum hookbait? (19 posts / 4,738 views)

I fancy a trip down memory lane this winter with a decent plum/pepper based popup, but I've only found 3 options from brands I know.

I asked someone to roll a batch to my spec, but they're really busy doing their own thing at the mo, so thought I'd ask here if anyone knows of any decent plum hookbait out there I should have a look at?

Thanks

Thanks Cam. The ones I've got/found/tried

Nutrabaits - used to be great, but looked at them today in the shop and they seemed different so didn't buy them.
Advanced hookbaits - doing something with cranberry and plum. Never used them, any good?
Poacher PP - dug out half a pot I've got in the garage to use whilst looking around. Id like to find this but more plummy 😂😂

Thanks for the suggestions, seems just a 'plain' plum hookbait isn't out there.

So it's looking like I'm going to have to buy a table and the bits to roll an eggs worth for myself.

Trent baits do a very nice Damson (plum) cream bait for the winter months only.

Indeed 👍👍.

I've got about half a tub left so thought I'd see what else is out there and having a boilie in the same plum flavour makes the Trent baits option interesting for sure.

I'm sure Geoff at ABS or Gavin at poachers would be able to put together something custom for you.

I imagine you're right, but I'm half way towards rolling my own but it's been a while so need to get motivated 😂😂.

Took receipt of a pot of trents damsons today so at least have something to go with for the short term

The best!

Sure forgotten flavours do a plum if you can get?

If your going to roll your own, JB buttringer and plum is an awesome combination 👌

Thanks for the suggestions.

I've given up waiting for who was going to roll for me coming back to me, so it will be something I do for myself.

Pretty simple tbh - plum, pepper and Asafoetida on a milky base is what I'll probably start with
