I'm in the market for a new bivvy after my Cyprinus MH broke in a storm August Bank holiday weekend. Looking for something that I can sit up i. My M3 Compact is getting a bit uncomfortable. Need something sturdy so been thinking about the above 2. Can't afford brand new so will be going with second hand. What are your view?

Never been a fan of nash, but I needed a bivvy and the xl pro fit the bill, to be honest I can't fault it, easy to put up and take down, sturdy and loads of room.

I'm sat in an hide XL right now, sat upright not touching the top. No complaints apart from it's chucking down and I'm blanking so far!

Zip in or clip in groundsheet? Not that I use one very often. Any issues with condensation? My old Titan an Titan AS brolly were pretty bad with it. I know single skins will always suffer

The groundsheet has elastic points that peg down with the bivvy, I normally use it with the door open so it's not too bad, does come with a removable vapour shield thing

I have the Nash Titan Fishing Hide Camo Pro and not had any issues with. Have had a few people remark on the height which is excellent. Only issue i have had is the groundsheet is a little thin and i have managed to destroy mine already so will need to purchase a new one for the colder months.

I fish a lot of swims that have gravel chippings, bark etc, which is a nightmare with the thin groundsheet.
I have bought one of these -
carpet
Cut it slightly larger than the groundsheet, hemmed it and use it below the ground sheet.
Absolutely fantastic, stopped all the puncturing of the groundsheet, keeps the groundsheet clean for packing away and will dry really quick being plastic.

Defintely the Titan Hide Camo Pro XL,
Have been using this since it came out, had the earlier Hide XL, which has a slightly smaller footprint and headroom.
Most of the time i lay the ground sheets out, set up the bed etc, set the bivvy up and then place it over the top of the bed and groundsheet, peg down with the eleastic straps on the groundsheet and voila, done.
This takes a couple of minutes and saves having to bend down through the doorway with the 15kg bed and having to fight to put up the bed in the bivvy.
I am 6' 2", and sit on the bed, head does not touch the vapor barrier, which stops all condensation from dripping on you. and can see out absolutely no problem.
I usually use the mozzi-mesh zip on front, during the summer for the mozzies and the winter as it stops most light rain and you can see though it. i will use the waterproof zip in front if i have to set up with the rain driving straight towards me, the door usual set up letter box style. i just dont like the totally dark, shut out feeling when you have the waterproof front zipped up.
I have been tempted with the Titan T1 camo pro high door type, but cant see me ever having to set up and organise the bed through the door way, i like the setting up and then lift the Hide over the ground sheet.
To sum up, i would suggest the Titan Hide Camo Pro to everyone.
In my opinion the Nash Titan series is still the best ever.
Others copy, Fox,Trakker etc, but copies are never as good, this my opinion...

Looks ideal that I have the XL hide and the groundsheet is *****, certainly had to go without it at Rainbow mind you that is the extreme

@ Carpstar40, look at those conditions :-0/that ground....some campsites insist on those breathable groudsheets but beware, they're not all water proof which can be a pain if puddles colect as it can come through. My pref is for a HD tent groundsheet cut to size, mostly far better than any fishing offering.

They'll probably be waiting for a ship to dock. Once here there'll be plenty of stock is my guess.

You will need to buy the infill and groundsheet seperately but be warned that the groundsheet is a little on the thin side. And would be nice if they did an overwrap as well. Or a utility front.

Personally I prefer the groundsheet to be as it is, rather than thicker and heavier.
I'm really surprised as well that they don't sell an overwrap or utility front, I'd have thought there'd be a decent number of people buy them.

I'd really like a Utility front for France trips so if its blazing hot or pouring down you have a nice little retreat to sit in. I like the Trakker Utility fronts but not sure if they are compatible with the newer Trakker bivvys.

Picked up a second hand XL Pro last night with both fronts, groundsheet and XL tarp. Set it up this morning, and really happy how quick it goes up. Pleased so far. Is there a knack on how to get it back in the bag? The front poles seem to cause an issue 🤣

Fold the bivvy up as normal, making sure to leave the tension strap hanging out of the end. The wrap the tension strap tightly around the outside of the bivvy from one end to the other.
This keeps it nice and compact and it'll go in the bag no bother.
