They are the best. My one alarm drained the battery. Sent it off had no proof of purchase so was told would cost roughly £30. They must of ran the serial number on the box as i received a brand new replacement few days later without having to pay anything and they even sent me an additional purple hard cover as a thanks for using them.

My experience with Delkim repair wasn't so great. Sent my three Txi+'s in, as they all quit working whenever wet/damp.
They repaired ( re sealed? ) and returned them in short order.
First time out in light drizzle, two quit working again.
Gave up on them and bought Fox rx+ , which have been faultless for something like 5 years now.
A shame, as I really love the Delkim " warble ", but they just weren't reliable.

Oh yeah, for all those staunch Delkim fans who swear that such issues are rare, I recall a conversation with an angler who had recently returned from a session at Parco del Brenta.
Apparently they had some heavy rain and not only did his Delks quit working, but also every other anglers' who were using them ......
Now, if Delkim would only produce a fully waterproof alarm, I would he all over them.

In no way did every person using delks on a whole lake alarms stop working. Im sorry if anyone believes that I hope they never get an email from a Nigerian Prince offering them money 😂😂😂

I can't wait for that Nigerian prince to transfer his money. He's transferring it tomorrow apparently, all I had to do was send him £250 to prove it was definitely by bank account...
I've got a good few friends who have had Delks for years, just look after them, make sure they get dried out after wet sessions etc and they're spot on

Here we go again,Delkim fan boys who can't admit that these alarms have problems when it rains.I only had problems with my txi + receiver,that was enough for me to get rid.My mates had issues with the alarms but it was quickly resolved,only one of the lads I fish with has the txi-d and they've been fine.The cheaper Fox alarms have loads of issues too and the rx+ have had plenty common faults,toggle switch breaking,dial knobs coming off to name two

I can't vouch for the chap, but he seemed quite credible.
My own experience and several mates deemed it quite possible.

Been out since Sunday with a number of heavy down pours and mine have been fine, and never had a problem before that

If somethings crap i will say its crap. My txi pluses were utter crap and all failed in the rain as did two of my mates and i used to dry them out properly after each session. I was probably unlucky but It took me a while to give the txid's a go after the problems with my pluses but had them 3 years now and i havent had a single issue. The two lads i fish with use them as well and also havent had any problems so i can only go off my own personal findings and that is they have all been 100% reliable so far. They only other alarm ive had that was better was my ace i3's.

Just seen this and in the last three weeks I have had two of my txi-d go down in the rain nearly cost me a nice fish too. not even 3 years old yet. NOT happy!! £30 for the first one now sending off the second. So much for better weather protection.. Just as an added note, I actually love the Delkims and their after sales service is second to none. But obviously there is a percentage of them that don't come up to weather proof standards. I still wouldn't buy a different make though.

I've got 6 mk1 txi+ and none of them have EVER failed due to water/rain. I've put them away damp plenty of times and no issues. I use soft cases though, which will wick away moisture and not a hard case which won't.

currently I got 4 Delkim Tx-i Plus thats seem more storms in a year than some have in 10 they have also been picked up by a typhoon dropped in the lake underwater for over an hour recovered dried em off with a towel and was fishing again for the remaining 3 weeks
all the years I have owned different Delks I have never had a seconds problem and fished in proper rain storms in europe

Not wishing to spoil the ranting but the OP did say TXI which could be the original TXI's not the plusses, which he needs to know where to send them as Delkim no longer touch them.
TBF the original TXI was pretty good, the next i version (TXI+) did have problems if using a cheap battery ( the Duracell M+ was recommended which is marginally thicker than cheaper Tesco or Chinese eBay batteries) and if you didn't use these then a foam sticky back insert was offered by Delkim to keep the backs pushed back to obtain a seal. Not an excuse in any way at all but just part of the history of Delkim ( at least they were free, not like the Angling Technics battery box Perspex covers to stop the bloody thing sinking 😲
Old TXI with the old body shape seemed ok.
Newer TXI+ definitely had issues. Cut through the crap and there are too many people who don't hide behind keyboards who are prepared to say so, although there is undoubtably some who heard it from a friends mate aunties dog who also bent their Basia spindles on a hard cast.
TXI D's Is not the jury still out? People want to hear the worst maybe, but if you were a manufacturer of a product which most people thought was good apart from a water ingress issue wouldn't you move heaven and hell to get it right second time around? (Although anyone who had the original 90's Nash Titan was puzzled how a £5 Argos beach tent managed to have waterproof seams when an at the time Nash Titan couldn't?)
Just for the record, had Original Delks, TX 2000 radio add ins, TXI and TXI+ and now use 25 + year old heavily converted Nash Neville's so no particular axe to grind.
So if the original OP ( now probably hiding having stirred up a hornets nest) the answer is send them to Dal as Delkim no longer support the TXI original 👍

I haven't had the TXId but any other of the remote Delks certainly the receiver wasn't waterproof. To be fair I don't know of any other makes that are.
I didn't have any problems with my TXI+ heads with water ingress but personally know of others who did. My TXI+ reciever did get wet and had to go back to Delkim twice before it was sorted.

It's made with the same processes though I'd be inclined to put it in the clear plastic case they provide as being unfixed it's at least got a bit more protection if accidentally dropped.
