I see theres a new solar chair out called the c-tec sofa chair and labelled as the most comfy fishing chair ever made. Same weight as my c-tec low chair as well. Thats my next purchase sorted then.

Hope it's fleece around the arms and not suede like like the c tech bedchair, once that's wet it takes an age to dry, Great bedchair, just the suede like material let's it down imo

I through my lumber support out, didnt like that at all, think i binned the tackle organiser as well that clips onto it and my bedchair. No reclining is fine as i only ever used mine in the one position. It dose look very comfy so im going to have to add it to the sp collection.

It looks like fleece if you zoom in but its hard to tell. The only thing im not sure about is it dosent fold flat.

The arm rests are built in,thats why it's called a sofa chair.The new design stops drafts coming in from the side and keeps your back warmer in the colder months

Look forward to seeing this - I have the c tech Hi chair and the bed both great quality

Regards folding flat the c tech chair doesnt I use a strap to pull it in and its my fave chair of all; the ones I own I like the lumbar support and the ability to recline but it is quite bulky, by comparison I also have the nash ind sub lo which I rate but is a bit low for session fishing and Ive also got an indulgence moon chair (huge but comfy) so use that for camping nowdays

Just seen this picture guys, looks very comfy, high back and indeed arm rests. I like what I see.

My chair folds flat Rob but i dont use the lumber support. After watching a video on the new one i think it may be a bit high and to bulky. I like a very low chair and it looks a lot higher than my c-tec low chair. It does look super comfy though.

Where have you seen the video

I see all the tackle shops have the rrp at £189 then selling it for £169 saying 11% off when its only £169 on solars website. Thats well out of order, would only happen in carp fishing.

I asked the tackle box why they had the rrp at £189 and got the response below. Seems they just make there own prices up these days. Solar dont list a ssp they just have a fixed price of £169.99 on there website.

I know a lot of people rave over the
Tuck up box I mean the tackle box but they are my last resort as I get sick of seeing them selling stuff ABOVE the RRP and trust me I dont make mistakes with prices

I very rarely use the tackle box as there the dearest shop going and there website is crap and never show stock levels so you dont even know its in stock when you order something. Even johnson ross who i love and all the others say the rrp is £189.99 as well 🤷‍♂️

I just saw the video and he is wearing SOCKS & CROCS
and its VERY deceptive in a video as to how high or low the seat is I find it very silly that Solar dont give the min /max seat height ??

Yeah I'd like to see exact dimensions as I really fancy one - ideally I'd use it for overnighters on the Trent, use the front legs to recline it a bit and sleep on it rather than messing about with a bedchair. I need to test one first really though.

A couple went from a ebay seller last night I think, they offered it at £136, never seen that before but had a notification on my ebay page.

I was fancying one of these until I saw the Carpology review video....now unless the lad presenting is 4ft tall the thing is bloody massive, it would be like taking a second bedchair!

The way it sags in the middle,I wouldn't want to try and get up quickly and definitely not sit on there if I had a bad back.
