I'm moving over to shelflife baits as I have no freezer space, I seen some of a friends abs shelflife bait and couldn't believe it wasn't fresh/frozen, looked and felt spot on ! Looking to maybe put an order in, I usually mix a fish meal and a nut bait together, anyone point me in the right direction ? Cheers

I am using their Hydro K now a superb bait. Have used Malarky & Rock Lobster previously and have confidence in all of them.

I can highly recommend their 2TB mate. It had instant results on it and it even outfished Hydra K on most waters 👌

My mate uses malarky mixed with mc nut, I'm going to take a look at it when he's back from his holiday, they are what I'm leaning towards but they all look so good it's hard to decide 😂

All their bait is top notch.. i been using mc nut in winter and spring... last summer I started using their hydra k shelf life's and smashed a water to bits heavily baiting. If your in the south east, you can meet their driver somewhere, pay cash which saves you a bit too. And if you ask, they will send you some samples of baits so you can make your mind up what you want. 👌🏻👌🏻

Maybe worth editing a bit of that, sure they wouldn't want that permanently viewable online.

A number of shops offer a discount for cash, and legally, as they don't pay card processing fees.
Most Debit cards are around 2%, and credit cards slightly more, American Express was around 5%.

My local greengrocer, just as an example, worked out they paid £500+ every month for taking card payments, so they prefer cash.

Fraid so.
You think we put everything on our debit card without thinking about it, yet the service provider (who we bought off) is paying for it.

There are less and less banks every day, and getting cash is getting harder and harder, yet shops and us are paying for it.

A fair bit of price on items is to pay for card transactions, at which point everyone loses out, even those who pay cash.

The banks and government want a cashless society, they can check taxes, income etc.

So for some places to give a discount for cash, means they are more likely to get my business.

Governments dream a cash less society, no tax avoidance at the bottom of the food chain. Also much harder for drug dealers, petty criminals and the shadow economy to operate.

Indeed, and no giving the local kids a fiver to wash your car (I'm tight and my car is dirty...)

The shadow economy; I reckon that paid cash for jobs, around 50% of that money is declared, maybe less. Self-employed workers, tradesmen, so many trades can hide or not declare cash.

Anyway, I've diverted from the original topic with the pros and cons of cash, so my apologies.

I noticed ABS are mostly deal direct, but Hampshire Tackle do stock them.

At 0% tax you don't have a shadow economy, at 100% tax the entire economy goes underground. Can't blame anyone for meeting at the car park, since we are closer to the latter than the former. Thus the push for digital money. But yes off topic, back to boilies:P
