Are now sending out split shipments. Ordered six items on sunday then recieved 5 yesterday.
The cm90 missing item has been despatched today.
So I've paid my years priority delivery and even though they showed the item in stock, it's not next day.
Having spoken to them to see what was happening I've been told split deliveries are becoming the norm.
Soda law the item I wanted was the one that's taken the longest. The rest was just spres for rig making.

I guess they may be robbing different stores due to no stock in the main warehouse and that's why the extra day.
I never expect anything the next day the way things are unless I actually go and get it myself I can then guarantee delivery in time lol

Not the most reputable of firms, the mail order side of their business that is. If an order is split due to stock availability, they should be asking you if you agree to it or are willing to wait so the entire order can be shipped. As to next day, I wouldn't bother, given there's zero guarantee it will be next day - read the small print, no courier can 100% say they can achieve that.

TBH this is the only order that I've not recieved next day.
I now only use them if the price is right or if they seem to be the only place with stock.

Yeah they often take about a week to process and dispatch orders I find.
Bristol Angling Centre is generally fantastic though.

Ordered something late Monday afternoon by the normal free delivery and it turned up this morning
Forget about paying for next day with either AD o TFT, might as well flush your money down the toilet as they very rarely adhere to it.
Best i have found if you need something quickly are Bristol Angling or Johnson Ross.

Apparently it's my order will be with me tomorrow and they are going to refund me the priority postage cost.

Bristol Angling & The Tackle Box have always been excellent for me. Usually get stuff delivered within 2 days
looking at royal mail strikes this month,if any company uses them you'll be lucky to get it before xmas

Turns out my order hasn't even been collected from Angling Direct yet. Not bad going is it considering I ordered Tuesday evening and paid for priority delivery 😂

I ordered an item from AD Tuesday afternoon and received it on Thursday lunchtime on a standard delivery, probably curse myself now but haven't had any issues with AD over the years though I only use them when I have too rather use local tackle shop.

Mine still hasn't even left angling direct. Shambles of a company.

For a bit of contrast, I ordered the Fox Specialist brolly in their Black Ticket sale yesterday, opted for Standard 5 day delivery and it's arrived today!! Can't complain about that!
As an aside my local AD has some bizarre pricing on some items. Lob worms are 10 for £2.99, or you can get 50 for £15.99 ????

I actually find them normally really good, I ordered a lot of bits last week and was here 2 days later with standard postage, never had to wait longer than 3/4 days for any order over the years I've bought stuff.
TFT are normally pretty good aswell but they seem to take a day or two longer but let's be honest is waiting upto 4/5 days for your order that big of a deal? If you want it sooner pay the extra for next day delivery

I did pay for priority delivery. Order placed on Tuesday. Didn't leave their warehouse until Friday evening. Being delivered Monday.

Urgh why do I keep forgetting how useless AD are?
Made the mistake of ordering last week some stuff I need for an upcoming session. 5 days later and the order still hasn't even been processed.

I ordered something on the free 5 day delivery. 3 days later it was still showing as "processing" and hadn't moved to "scheduled for delivery.
So once the weekend was out of the way i called them on Monday and they gave me some story about a computer issue.
I insisted that they get it changed to next day delivery and no extra cost and it was here at 11am today.

Bit fed up with AD to be honest
Order placed Monday 31st July, by last Thursday I hadn't recived notification of being sent.
Tried to log into account to chase, said I'd forgotten my password.
Tried to get a new password sent out, repeatedly refused to accept my Captcha.
Sent e-mail asking for a reset link.
Received 2 reset links that had expired before I could use them.
Monday this week I sent a stern e-mail, asking if it hadn't been sent to refund me and that this had all the hall marks of a out of stock item being ordered in.
Was told their e-mail systems had been down all last week along with their Kardex system in the warehouse making it impossible to process orders.
Very very poor
