The Carp industry is sizeist !!

If you're a short arse or a man in a boys body you can save a fortune, compact bivvies, compact bedchair's and bag's, all cheaper than your normal size bloke has to pay, (that said they are having to pay more for smaller boilies as 10mm and 12mm do tend to attract a premium.)

What with Nash and others bringing out shorter rods and little nets for them in recent years where's it all going to end?

The normal sized bloke is getting pushed out of the game, pretty soon all the lakes will be ringed with little bivvies and angry short blokes looking for a punch up.

I gained all my weight being bed ridden in hospital, not all us festively plump fellows chose the greasy path lol. I'm actually pescatarian 😂

I'm short and fat cos I stuff my face all the time with take aways and chocolate. I need all the help I can get from small lightweight bivvys and bedchairs cos I'm too unfit to walk to the swim with normal sized kit.

Remember tall blokes have an unfair height advantage when fish spotting. I personally think you should have to fish from a kneeling position all the time to make it fair.

I'd like for those commenting to confirm what height is considered to be a short ass? the wife calls me fat ass, I couldn't cope if I'm a short fat ass, just for clarification I'm 5'8" (it's on my police record).

On the strength of your comment I've just ordered THESE I hope they're here in time for the weekend, good job the weathers been warming up and the banks are getting firmer I reckon the design of the heel will be OK until the late Autumn rains arrive.

Don't mention hormones in a carp forum Glenn you'll get us strung up, I've cancelled them as I thought 450 notes was a bit steep, I've got a couple of pairs of crocs and I've already thought about it I'm going to get a couple of 4" timber off cuts and screw straight through the crocs with 6" screws that way i'll have a bit of grip on the slippery banks come the winter and when they soak up the damp ground moisture I might gain a few more mm in height, i'll probably then feel like the OP in that fishing is monopolized by the vertically challenged.

My 12yr old son is 5'8" - my 14yr old son is 6' - I'd say 5'8" is short unless you are 12 in which case that's normal

i used to be 5ft 8. Not anymore. Shrinkage has set in.

We used to have a 5' 5” Regimental Sergeant Major. He was a real natural nasty *******. He used to state that he was average height which was hilarious. His nickname was the Poison Dwarf.

I'm 5'11” and always considered myself as average height - neither tall nor short.

The average male in UK is 5ft 9in, so I'm just above average at 5ft 11in, or was as I think due to back problems I've shrunk...

I'm just too tall for a compact bed, even though they were supposedly around 1.97m. I found stretched out on my front I touched the end with my toes and my head was off the head end.

I'm just over 6ft in real life and 6ft 4" on the internet when defending my self esteem .
